Supported Features on PS5

PlayStation lists DualSense vibration, adaptive-trigger effects and integrated-speaker features for GTA VI. It also explicitly says the game is not playable on PS4. Supported features and platform compatibility do not confirm that you need to buy a GTA-branded controller. Official PS5 information.

Three questions to keep separate

QuestionUseful Details
Will a feature be supported? The game’s platform feature list
Which button performs an action? The released game’s controls menu or an official manual
Does an accessory work? Its exact model, console compatibility and supported connection mode

The GTA VI button layout is unspecified. Reusing GTA V controls would risk teaching the wrong input. A trailer showing a vehicle or weapon does not identify the button used, and a vibration feature does not reveal a sensitivity setting.

Prepare without guessing settings

Before buying an accessory, identify your actual console and controller model. Compare its supported features with the game listing, not a promotional render or a fan-made skin. After release, test prompts and remapping in the game itself before following a settings guide.

Use this as preparation advice. Exact aim sensitivity, dead zones, accessibility presets and button remapping still need verification in the released game.

See PS5 and PS4 compatibility or the separate Xbox platform guide. PS5-specific features should not be silently copied to Xbox controllers.
